The key activities associated with the post will include, facilitating and implementing the relevant status changes of schools including School reorganisation, Academy conversions, Foundation transfers. To develop and implement high quality processes to ensure consistency across the Property Management function. To develop and implement appropriate governance arrangements across the Education portfolio in relation to licenses, leases, wayleaves, shared use agreements etc. To develop and maintain robust financial systems and databases to ensure accurate records are maintained.

Assistant Director Education Capital and Place Planning – Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council – Closing date 26 November

Pupil Places and Planning Manager – North Somerset Council – Closing date 29 November 2021

£40,876 per annum

NSC are looking to appoint a highly motivated professional to manage the Pupil Places & Planning Team. The team is responsible for the LA’s statutory responsibilities for school admissions, school academy transfers, school place planning and for overseeing and/or supporting school organisation change processes initiated by demographic growth, new births (decreasing and increasing) or as a result of the Children’s Services school-based Capital Programme. Strategic Development Officer, Lincolnshire County Council – Closing date – 12 December 2021

You will lead the strategic development and delivery of the County Council’s policy in respect of major development proposals and maximise developer contributions (including Section 106) to Council’s school infrastructure improvements.
