Manager – Pupil Place Planning, Admissions and School Funding – Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (closing date 2 May, 2021)

Salary: £51,002 plus market supplement to take to £63,000

The role is part of the Children’s Services , and the appointed person will be responsible for ensuring that BCP and schools operate within the statutory requirements relating to admissions and school funding in order for there to be sufficient appropriate high-quality school places to meet current and future needs of the BCP population. Group Manager – Sufficiency and Place Planning – Worcestershire County Council (Closed)

Education Place Planning Commissioner – London Borough of Newham (Closed)

Deputy Director School Estate Programmes – Department for Education – (Closed)

Salary: £71,000. SCS Pay Band 1

School Commissioning and Capital Lead  – London Borough of Sutton (Closed)

Salary: £49,827 – £58,242 per annum (£60,396 unconsolidated maximum achievable through performance related progression)

This is a key role to ensure that the London Borough of Sutton strategically manages the supply and demand of schools places in the Borough to meet its statutory responsibilities for children and young people. This includes using data to make informed decisions, commissioning value for money capital activities across both mainstream education and specialist provision (SEND) as well as taking operational management, monitoring and reporting of the council’s capital programme (Basic Need and Capital Maintenance) for schools and education. There are no direct line reports but the candidate will be working at a senior level with Headteachers, Governors, Senior Officers and Elected Members. Team Manager, School Organisation and Capital Planning – Central Bedfordshire (CLOSED)

(salary – £43,966 – £51,022)

Central Bedfordshire are seeking a team manager for schools organisation and capital planning. In this key role, you’ll deputise for the Head of Service and manage the work of the School Organisation Officers in the team and ensure the NSP and SFF programme are delivered on time and on budget. You’ll work closely with schools and their leaders, implementing relevant strategies and best practice to ensure the Council has the best schools. Senior School Organisation Officer – Staffordshire County Council (CLOSED)

Staffordshire are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to the School Organisation Team. The team is responsible for the County Council’s statutory duty to ensure the efficient supply of school places in Staffordshire. The successful candidate will be asked to make recommendations on future school provision using data analysis, professional knowledge and judgement. Project Manager – School rebuilding programmes – Department for Education – (CLOSED)

Project Directors – School rebuilding programmes – Department for Education – (CLOSED)

As a Project Director within PSBP or other school building programmes within the capital group, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of batches of school capital projects. The schools will be at various stages of pre-construction and construction, including post-12 month ‘Defect Liability Period’, with a number still having outstanding claims and defects. Property and Investment Officer – Camden Borough Council –  (CLOSED)

Camden are looking for a new team member to work within Property Services to focus on asset management of educational buildings. Grade 7 Pupil Place Planning Advisor – Department for Education – West Midlands – (CLOSED)


The DfE are looking to appoint a Pupil Place Planning Adviser for the West Midlands region. Pupil Place Planning Advisors operate in the Regional Delivery Directorate. Capital Project Manager – London Borough of Bromley – Closing Date 2 February, 2020 (CLOSED)

The London Borough of Bromley is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a small team in its Education Division delivering our £80m+ school expansions programme across mainstream and special school.
