Starting in 2014, Hampshire County Council and East Riding of Yorkshire have been coordinating the collection of school building cost information on behalf of EBDOG. We now have projects from over 150 Local Authorities, over 1,000 projects totalling over £5.5bn! It is an incredibly powerful dataset and one that EBDOG uses in its conversations with the DfE about capital allocations as well as with developers in terms of contributions to local infrastructure. A presentation was recently given to EBDOG on this years collection. For those that weren’t able to attend the webinar a recording of the presentation is below together with a copy of the presentation slides. This exercise will continue next year so a big thanks to all LAs that have contributed!
