The DfE have confirmed the cancellation of this conference due to election period / purdah

The Department for Education (DfE) and EBDOG invite representatives from local authorities, large multi-academy trusts and dioceses to the School Places and Spaces conference. Hear from Lord Agnew (Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the School System) and Rory Kennedy (Director of Capital Directorate), with more speakers to be confirmed. The conference will take place at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre, Hill Street, Birmingham, B5 4EW

There will also be a range of workshops available throughout the day on topics such as:

  • Good estate management for schools
  • Spending well on school places
  • Energy efficiency and school maintenance
  • DfE frameworks
  • Basic need and pupil place planning
  • And more…

Due to limited availability, it is requested that only one representative from each organisation book a ticket. The event is targeted towards those in relevant roles responsible for the planning or school provision or capital projects.
